Uncle Bill's Cottage is the perfect base to explore the Dual World Heritage Tongariro National Park and it's lakes, rivers, volcanoes and mountains, including the Tongariro Alpine Crossing - known as the best one-day walk in the world.
Uncle Bill's Cottage is a gorgeous country house on a working sheep and beef farm. Your holiday can be as adventurous as you please - cycle through to the Bridge to Nowhere on the new Mountain to Sea Cycleway; fish for trout in the Manganui O te Ao River nearby, or just relax on the cottage's deck in the sun.
